Mr. Peter Williams – Secretary
Peter currently serves the secretary of Integrity Group Barbados (IGB) and is an active member of the group from its inception. Peter is a regular contributor to IGB’s press articles.
“My reason for joining the group was to be help in the development of a better Barbados and to counter the decay that is increasingly evident in the fabric of our society.
IGB has achieved quite a lot in its short existence. IGB has brought together committed, knowledgeable and experienced individuals who are focused on fighting corruption and building a culture of integrity in Barbados. IGB has hosted Town Hall meetings, participated in public discussions on the battle against corruption, lobbied government for the enactment of integrity legislation and through the printed press and social media, increased public awareness about the importance of good governance in the public and private sectors. There is still a lot of work to be done and it is heartening to see a broad cross section of Barbadians expressing the need for greater transparency in the way in which we are governed.”
